The Old Rugged Cross
Composição de (George Bennard)
This is a simple version. If you listen to the bass line you'll hear
that there are some inversions. But the way that I have it written
here sounds just fine.

The Old Rugged Cross

Intro
G D G

Verse 1
     G                      C
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
    D                       G
The emblem of suffering and shame;
                                    C
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
      D                         G
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
