F A Dm F7 x2

F A
Four cups of cherries or more
      Dm F7
Maybe five just to be sure
Bb C D
One cup of sugar or more if the berries are sour
              C Bb
Let you belly say when
         B C
When you put in a good pinch cinnamon

F A
Groovin' twisting your leg
         Dm F7
When you add the yoke of an egg
Bb C D
Crumble some butter with four small cups of flour
                    C Bb
And in the wink of an hour
                  B C
If you're lucky you'll try my great granny's cherry pie

Well, listen once back in 1865
My great granny served her very first cherry pie
And it's been doing wonders ever since she's spread her love and crumble
She mend the broken hearts
    Bbm F
And won every prize in the local country market
                            D Bb
She was the sweetest thing invited everybody in to share
             B C
Tender love and care and some pie here and there

my great grandad walked in and caught her eye
And he´s been doing tumblers ever since he tasted her lovin´ crumbles

She once said to me one day you’re gonna thank me for this recipe
you gotta follow it to the T
 D Bb
